The cloud cottage creative company consists of a wife and husband couple. Tracie Decker is a bachelor of fine arts from Ringling School of art and Design and a talented watercolor artist and textile designer. Clint Decker is a carpenter woodworker graphic designer, web developer, marketer and candle Maker. Together we have been selling our art and products for many years at art shows farmers markets retail stores to product lines we have spent many tireless hours creating and making things of beauty and light to share with the world. We started at a the Sarasota Farmers market in fl selling succulent arrangements that Tracie handmade with artistic flair. She grew them and we also travel to the east coast of Fl to a giant succulent dealer and brought back very exotic succulents to be sold and shared with our customers. The business was called a garden story which has a story of its own but you will have to check out our Blog called a garden story to read more about why it's called that. The burden of plant care and logistics of getting the products to market were far to difficult at the time and we decided to try something different. Tracie's schooling and talent to watercolor that she picked up watching her grandfather when she was a child lent it self to the only option but to harness her abilities and switch over to art sales. So the transition began, we rebranded the company as Blue Water Color Studio. We did pretty well although through a hardship we decided to pack up and move to North Carolina to spend time in the mountains and begin the much needed healing process. As we moved through the process we found our home and on the property there is a two story building the upstairs is dedicated to art studio and digital design space. Downstairs is a woodshop and chandlery shop. Also through this process of healing and buying our home our current business was born. We always worked very closely together, she painted and I handled marketing and digital. But this time tighter than ever we find ourselves being Cloud Cottage Creative Co.
